Founder & CEO of both Resolution Realty, LLC and Resolution Development & Consulting.  A real estate agent since 1983 and a Broker since 1990, Holgate has closed deals in every category of Real Estate, including Residential (Single Family and Multifamily), Office, Industrial, Retail, and Land.

Holgate currently specializes in Retail Tenant Site Selection and Representation, having spent 15 years in the Retail Real Estate Industry working as a “Retailer”.  His extensive geographical experience base working various markets includes the States of:

(alphabetically) Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas,  Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia , West Virginia  and Wisconsin.

Background
Holgate founded the
Resolution Companies upon his departure in August, 2004 from his role of Vice President of Real Estate for Max &

 Erma’s Restaurants, Inc. ( NASDAQ), where he led new store development and managed the real estate department for eleven years.  Prior, he worked for Bob Evans Farms, Inc. as a Regional Real Estate Manager and in real estate brokerage.

Community
He has volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio since 1985 as a “BIG” for three little brothers, served on the Board of Directors since 2001, and chaired the Program Committee since 2003.  In 1998 Holgate was a recipient of the BBBS “W.E. Richardson Award”.   He serves on the Advisory Board for the Mentoring Center of Central Ohio & was honored
in 2002 as one of its first three Outstanding Mentor Award recipients. He spent over a year counseling an inmate in one of Ohio’s prisons through the Man to Man/Woman to Woman Program.  Other activities through the years include participation in local politics including working on a Mayoral race and serving as Campaign Manager for campaigns for the offices of Franklin County Municipal Court Judge and two different State Representative Districts.  He has been active in Toastmasters and the Columbus Jaycees as a Vice Chairman and served as the President of the House Corporation for The Ohio State University’s chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity for over three years.

Personal
He resides in Northwest Franklin County (Columbus, OH MSA) with his wife, Alice, and their daughter, Rowan.  He has been a resident of the area for over 33 years, having attended St. Charles Preparatory High School and The Ohio State University, earning a B.S.B.A. (Finance) in 1982 & a Varsity “O” for Soccer.
